What you will do

• Design the user experience from an economic perspective to predict player behavior based on available data.
• Determine and manage the pricing of the game's virtual currencies.
• Build simulations and predictive models to proactively forecast the results of content changes.
• Collaborate with product teams to balance and fine-tune new game features.
• Monitor individual and macro player balances to ensure the overall health of the game's economy.
• Analyze large, complex data sets to inform strategic and operational business decisions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in game economy or similar positions within the game development industry.
• BA/B.Sc. in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or other quantitative fields.
• Strong SQL experience for querying large and complex data sets.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical tools and models such as Python, R, or SAS.
• Experience with BI tools including Tableau and Looker.
• Advanced Excel knowledge for complex data manipulation.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Machine Learning (ML).
