What you will do

• Develop and support enterprise applications for investment banking and financial services operations.
• Build backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring MVC, and Jakarta EE.
• Implement messaging integrations with JMS and MQ solutions.
• Manage JBoss environments and support application server migrations.
• Work with Angular applications, relational databases, automated testing, and continuous integration tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams while contributing to software design decisions.

Requirements

• More than 9 years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Maven, Java EE/Jakarta EE, JMS, MQ, JBoss, and Oracle databases.
• Experience with unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, or comparable testing libraries.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and continuous integration principles and tools.
• Strong English communication skills and availability to work in a hybrid Porto setup.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular 2+ versions above 14.
• Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
• French or Portuguese language skills.
