VCA - Strategy Consulting Manager (Payments): Leading consulting engagements for banks, fintechs, merchants, and payment providers across the Nordics and Baltics with an accent on strategy, analytics, innovation, and payments. Focus on structuring complex business problems, translating data-driven insights into strategic recommendations, and developing payment ecosystem, digital asset, fraud, and growth strategies.
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; hybrid work with office attendance required three set days per week, Tuesday through Thursday

What you will do
- Lead consulting engagements and workstreams from problem definition through recommendations and implementation.
- Advise senior stakeholders across financial institutions, fintechs, merchants, and payment ecosystem participants.
- Structure complex business problems and translate data-driven insights into strategic recommendations.
- Manage and develop graduates, analysts, and consultants while ensuring high-quality client deliverables.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership teams and collaborate with product, sales, risk, innovation, and marketing functions.
- Support proposal development, thought leadership, business development, and the continued growth of the Nordics and Baltics consulting practice.
Requirements
- Experience in management consulting, strategy, financial services, payments, or fintech.
- Experience leading projects and workstreams involving senior stakeholders and managing multiple project teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and support business development.
- Degree from a leading university or business school.
- Professional proficiency in English and Danish.

- Passion for digital commerce and emerging technologies, including digital assets, stablecoins, and new payment infrastructure.
- Experience coaching and developing colleagues in a collaborative leadership environment.
