What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and features end-to-end.
• Take full ownership of service quality, resilience, and maintainability throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product designers, owners, and frontend/mobile engineers to deliver product innovations.
• Optimize engineering processes and advocate for development best practices.
• Refactor codebase and fix bugs to ensure high product reliability.
• Experiment with new technologies during dedicated Technical Weeks.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience with a focus on object-oriented programming.
• 3+ years of experience working with customer-facing products in e-commerce, fintech, or SaaS.
• Expertise in designing and deploying backend services with high availability and low latency.
• Strong knowledge of API design, SQL, and relational databases.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Must be based in Lisbon and able to work from the office at least 2 days per week.
