TL;DR
Senior Data Engineer (ETL): Designing and developing scalable ETL solutions for diverse clients with an accent on data modeling and database optimization. Focus on building robust data pipelines using tools like Informatica, Talend, and ODI to ensure efficient data movement and storage.

Location: Hybrid (2x/week) in Porto or Lisbon. Must be based in Portugal with Portuguese/EU citizenship or a valid work permit

What you will do

  • Design and develop end-to-end ETL solutions to support business data needs.
  • Perform advanced SQL querying, manipulation, and optimization of relational databases.
  • Apply data modeling principles, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
  • Work with a variety of database technologies, including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL.
  • Collaborate with international partners to deliver technical data solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering with a focus on ETL.
  • In-depth mastery of SQL and relational/NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in at least one ETL tool: Informatica PowerCenter, ODI, Talend, or Stambia.
  • English: B2 level or above required.
  • Must be based in Portugal with EU citizenship or a valid work permit.
