What you will do

• Lead the shared UI testing framework covering unit, component, end-to-end, and visual regression testing.
• Design and operate GitLab CI and Jenkins pipelines that gate UI releases and provide reliable failure signals.
• Build a UI Quality Score combining coverage, escaped defects, incidents, skipped tests, and dependency health.
• Integrate automated dependency management, security testing, and AI-assisted test authorship into the internal platform.
• Collaborate with developer tooling, release, observability, and product group teams to drive adoption of the shared platform.
• Mentor engineers and build systems for flaky-test quarantine, triage, and remediation.

Requirements

• Experience building shared frameworks, developer tooling, or platforms used by other engineers.
• Strong Playwright experience with unit, component, and visual regression testing using Vitest or similar tools.
• Fluency in TypeScript, Vite, and modern frontend engineering practices.
• Experience designing fast, reliable GitLab CI pipelines and maintaining clear quality signals.
• Ability to establish engineering standards, influence senior stakeholders, and drive adoption across autonomous teams.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve engineering workflows, decision-making, and business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Automated dependency management with tools such as Renovate.
• Experience integrating SAST and SCA into developer workflows.
• Contract testing, mocking frameworks, DORA or SPACE metrics, and Jenkins modernization experience.
