TL;DR

Consultant - Data Science & Analytics (Data Science/ML): Working on local and international client engagements to derive insights and build predictive models with an accent on data acquisition, exploration, and stakeholder presentation. Focus on building machine-learning algorithms and developing AI solutions via the Heka accelerator.

What you will do

• Identify, process, and explore structured and unstructured data sources to discover trends and patterns.
• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms to derive valuable business insights.
• Develop and communicate results through dashboards, presentations, datasets, and bots.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to solve complex business challenges.
• Contribute to internal AI projects through the Heka accelerator.
• Support regional business development and upskilling initiatives in data science.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst, ideally within consulting.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field from a top university.
• Proficiency in Python and analytical languages such as R or SQL.
• English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) fluency is mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and business acumen.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or R-shiny.
• Deep understanding of statistical techniques and concepts.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques or optimization.
