What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design and implementation of complex Android infotainment features and services.
• Define and evolve modular application and system architectures, including data contracts and state management.
• Lead technical investigations into Android framework, vehicle services, vendor stacks, and hardware constraints.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Platform teams to translate system requirements into robust Android designs.
• Mentor and coach engineers through design reviews, code quality audits, and debugging strategies.
• Influence toolchain decisions and drive multi-release Android platform upgrades.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of professional Android development experience shipping large, complex production apps.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with comfort in C++ or Golang for performance-critical components.
• Deep knowledge of Android internals, lifecycles, concurrency, and patterns like MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Android Automotive (AAOS/AOSP), VHAL, and CarService.
• Experience with 3D Filament, Unreal, Unity, OpenGL ES, or Vulkan.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Automotive Services (GAS) or xTS (CTS/VTS/XTS) test suites.
• Background in safety- or security-sensitive domains such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices.
• Familiarity with virtualization or bench-based development and testing workflows.
