TL;DR
Founding Engineer (Travel AI): Building an AI-assisted trip planning experience (Marlow AI) with an accent on end-to-end feature ownership from database schema to UI. Focus on integrating complex travel APIs, designing scalable Postgres schemas with RLS, and implementing LLM-powered orchestration layers.
Location: Hybrid (Vilnius: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote). Other hubs available in Klaipėda and Riga.
Salary: €4,000–€5,000 gross per month + early-stage equity.

What you will do
- Own features end-to-end: from schema design and server functions to UI/UX and event tracking.
- Design and evolve Postgres schemas using Supabase, focusing on RLS policies and GRANTs.
- Integrate third-party APIs for flights (Kiwi), hotels (Hotelston), payments (Primer, PayPal), and subscriptions.
- Build LLM-powered tooling and orchestration layers using OpenAI, Anthropic, and OpenRouter.
- Implement features on Cloudflare’s edge runtime using TanStack Start.
- Shape the technical direction and architecture as one of the first technical hires on the team.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience shipping production web apps.
- Prior experience as an early hire (employee #2–15) in a seed or Series A/B startup.
- Hands-on experience with Supabase, Postgres RLS, or pgvector.
- Native-level proficiency in TypeScript.
- Experience with meta-frameworks such as Next.js, Remix, TanStack Start, or SvelteKit.
- Proven track record of integrating 10+ third-party APIs including auth and webhooks.
Nice to have
- LLM tool-calling experience (function calling, streaming, prompt versioning).
- Experience with edge/Workers runtimes.
- Advanced SQL knowledge (window functions, CTEs, triggers).
- Exposure to supervised fine-tuning for AI.
