What you will do

• Build, lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing System Validation team.
• Define validation plans and strategies based on functional requirements across the software development lifecycle.
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks, regression suites, validation infrastructure, and CI systems.
• Drive troubleshooting and defect resolution across networking, hardware, firmware, software, and distributed system layers.
• Establish quality metrics, dashboards, reporting, documentation, and release-readiness processes.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to support product qualification and customer deployments.

Requirements

• Experience leading technical teams responsible for validating and qualifying complex networking, distributed systems, or comparable hardware and software platforms.
• Experience building and scaling validation organizations, including processes, automation strategies, tooling, and quality metrics.
• Strong understanding of software validation, test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and defect management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting risks, status, and metrics to executive leadership.
• Experience using AI technologies for AI-assisted development, intelligent automation, or data-driven analytics in validation engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Networking experience with Omni-Path, InfiniBand, or Ethernet.
• Linux system administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of distributed systems testing and routing or switching concepts.
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment.
