What you will do

• Design and build secure sandboxing platforms, APIs, and client libraries for code execution across containerized and virtualized environments.
• Ensure isolation, security, reproducibility, and efficient resource utilization across sessions and workloads.
• Optimize cold-start latency, memory footprint, and performance at hirify.global.
• Debug production issues, monitor reliability, respond to incidents, and implement preventive fixes.
• Partner with internal infrastructure users to understand requirements and develop effective tooling.
• Lead architecture reviews and own projects from design through deployment while contributing to the sandboxing product roadmap.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building high-performance systems software and maintaining libraries, SDKs, or developer-facing APIs.
• Deep knowledge of Linux internals, including process isolation, memory management, cgroups, and namespaces.
• Experience with containerization and virtualization technologies such as Docker, Firecracker, gVisor, QEMU, or Kata Containers.
• Proficiency in a systems programming language such as Go, Rust, or C/C++.
• Experience with API design, error propagation, documentation, debugging, and production performance and security tradeoffs.
• Ability to work across infrastructure layers, including kernel modules and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience founding or joining an infrastructure-focused startup at an early stage.
• Familiarity with LLM agents and agent frameworks.
• Experience with secure workloads in multi-tenant or untrusted environments.
• Knowledge of snapshotting and restore technologies or contributions to systems and developer-tools projects.
• Production on-call and incident-response experience.
