TL;DR
SNOC Engineer Support (Cybersecurity): Delivering level 1/2 technical support for network and security infrastructures to ensure business continuity with an accent on monitoring and protecting assets from cyber-attacks, viruses, and malware. Focus on troubleshooting security alerts, orchestrating tickets according to SLAs, and maintaining system reliability in a 24/7 shift operation.
Location: Must be based in Porto, Portugal

What you will do
- Provide L1/L2 technical support for network and security infrastructures across multiple entities.
- Monitor, analyze, and protect company assets from security threats, including cyber-attacks and malware.
- Respond to alerts from monitoring tools, troubleshoot issues, and deliver technical solutions.
- Manage security changes and orchestrate support tickets in accordance with SLAs and change management processes.
- Identify and escalate service improvements to enhance operational procedures.
- Collaborate with international teams to resolve complex InfoSec challenges.
Requirements
- Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or equivalent technical training.
- Practical knowledge of security monitoring tools such as DarkTrace, CrowdStrike, and GuardDuty.
- Solid understanding of fundamental networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, PTP/NTP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
- Troubleshooting experience in multi-vendor environments, including Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Check Point, and Fortinet.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 shift system based in Porto.
- Strong English communication skills; CV must be submitted in English.
Nice to have
- Understanding of the ITIL framework and operational processes.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, Shell, Perl, or PHP for automation.
