TL;DR
Health Information Management (HIM) Analyst (Epic HIM / Solventum / Payor Platform): Supporting and optimizing healthcare information management workflows, medical records operations, and payor platform processes with an accent on Solventum applications, coding workflows, compliance, and system integrations. Focus on configuring and troubleshooting HIM systems, implementing enhancements, validating upgrades, and improving data exchange across clinical, coding, revenue cycle, compliance, and IT functions.

What you will do
- Support and maintain HIM workflows and healthcare information systems.
- Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot HIM applications and related processes.
- Manage document management, chart completion, deficiency tracking, release of information, and record retention workflows.
- Support Solventum applications and integrations for HIM, coding, and clinical documentation.
- Analyze requirements and implement system enhancements, testing, upgrades, validation, and production support.
- Collaborate with clinical, coding, revenue cycle, compliance, and IT teams while developing documentation and training materials.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Health Information Management, medical records, health information systems, or healthcare IT.
- Experience with HIM workflows, chart management, release of information, deficiency tracking, document management, and compliance processes.
- Experience with Solventum (3M) HIM solutions, coding, CDI, or healthcare revenue cycle systems.
- Experience with healthcare payor platforms, claims, authorizations, eligibility, or payer operations.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA, healthcare privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
- One or more relevant certifications is required, including RHIA or RHIT; related Solventum certifications may also apply.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of healthcare data governance and medical record management.
- Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar EHR systems.
- Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards and data exchange.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- CHPS, CCS, CDIP, or relevant Solventum HIM, coding, or CDI certifications.
