Location: Malta
Salary: €34,000–€43,000 per year, excluding discretionary bonuses, equity, and localized benefits.

What you will do
- Manage daily custody operations, transaction support, token movements, wallet whitelisting, and client verification.
- Apply cryptographic key generation, storage, and rotation practices to protect digital assets.
- Reconcile custody accounts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate operational records.
- Support institutional clients, respond to custody enquiries, and collaborate with trade operations and cross-functional teams.
- Partner with engineering teams to improve custody applications, workflows, and operational efficiency.
- Develop KPIs, management reports, and operating procedures while supporting regulatory enquiries and audits.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience at a trading firm, hedge fund, investment bank, or similar financial institution.
- Experience supporting institutional or complex high-value clients in a regulated financial environment.
- Solid understanding of financial products and basic custody processes.
- Strong self-management, organization, written and verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in becoming an expert in digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Nice to have
- Experience with crypto assets.
- SOC 2 documentation experience.
