Senior QA Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Analyze requirements to ensure they are complete and testable.
• Design and execute manual tests for APIs, integrations, and backend components.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Jest with TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Perform root cause analysis, investigate issues, and support regression testing.
• Conduct code reviews to improve the test automation framework.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend-focused QA or test automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with manual API testing using Postman or Insomnia.
• Familiarity with log analysis tools such as Graylog or Kibana.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with payment providers or payment processing systems.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with mock servers for API testing.
