hirify.global develops commercially scalable and safe hirify.global robots, including the HMND-01 Alpha platform used in industrial pilots.

What you will do

• Build the Capability Factory, an internal platform for teaching HMND robots new skills from raw data through deployed capabilities.
• Curate, preprocess, validate, and manage robot telemetry datasets approaching petabyte scale.
• Design and operate scalable data pipelines, workflow orchestration, and compute infrastructure.
• Collaborate with ML teams on MLOps, training workflows, and evaluation systems connecting models with real-world robot performance.
• Develop data warehouses and BI dashboards for data collection, model progress, and operational health.
• Establish best practices for data versioning, access control, security, compliance, and production reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience and a record of delivering complex systems end to end.
• Strong backend engineering skills, including production APIs and services, data modeling, error handling, and performance optimization.
• Experience building reliable batch and streaming data pipelines at petabyte scale, including data quality and schema evolution.
• Expertise in workflow orchestration, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes operations.
• Ability to build both backend and frontend components of internal products.
• Production ownership experience, including on-call incident response, observability, and postmortem-driven improvements.

Nice to have

• ML infrastructure or MLOps experience, including training jobs, model artifacts, and evaluation pipelines.
• Experience with distributed compute frameworks and large-scale parallel data processing.
• Robotics or embodied AI knowledge, including robot data formats, sensor telemetry, or sim-to-real evaluation.
• Experience with BI, data warehouses, multi-cloud storage, or designing usable internal tools for non-engineers.
