QA Automation Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the world, with an option to work from the office in Tbilisi. Relocation support to Tbilisi is available.

What you will do

• Analyze requirements and design functional and non-functional test scenarios.
• Apply model-based testing with a strong focus on model design and trading specifics.
• Test exchange-core components and the overall system.
• Write automated API and backend tests in Python with minimal manual testing.
• Maintain and develop the Python automation framework and review teammates’ automation code.
• Keep testing and project documentation up to date.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of testing experience.
• At least 3 years of Python experience and strong Python automation skills.
• Solid test analysis and test design skills.
• Strong understanding of fintech; knowledge of trading or exchange systems is important.
• Good API testing and non-functional testing experience.
• Confidence working in the Linux shell, including basic scripting, log analysis, and service management.

Nice to have

• Experience testing exchange cores or similar systems.
• Personal trading experience.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Ability to read C++ code.
• Basic SQL skills for checking queries and analyzing migrations.
