Senior QA Engineer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Design test strategies, establish test environments, and implement and maintain automated test suites.
• Test cloud back-end and front-end technologies, including microservices deployed through containerized and serverless architectures.
• Validate the performance, resilience, scalability, and security of cloud-managed security services.
• Perform architecture reviews, defect root-cause analysis, deployment validation, and OSS compliance and vulnerability checks.
• Drive QA activities across multiple projects, improve testing processes, and create frameworks that increase delivery efficiency.
• Mentor QA engineers and collaborate with developers, architects, product management, and customer support.

Requirements

• Senior-level professional experience as a software QA engineer in an agile environment.
• Strong experience implementing automated tests and applying quality assurance methods.
• Experience with API and UI automation frameworks, performance analysis, and security evaluations.
• Comfort with JIRA, Confluence, test case management platforms, and AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience testing large-scale cloud services, microservices, front-end and back-end technologies, and relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong ownership, analytical thinking, communication, collaboration, initiative, and mentoring skills.
