What you will do

• Lead the architecture and development of APIs, event-processing pipelines, data visualization systems, and automation builders.
• Ship product features end-to-end, from defining scope and architecture to production operation.
• Own technical decisions and use user needs, business impact, and real data to guide product priorities.
• Raise engineering standards through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
• Take ownership of one or more subsystems and define their technical direction over time.

Requirements

• Approximately 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience building and scaling cloud products.
• Backend-focused experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL databases or comparable technologies.
• Experience shipping software end-to-end across multiple products.
• Strong product orientation and ability to collaborate effectively in ambiguous situations without waiting for detailed specifications.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid Helsinki setup with weekly office visits.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL, React architecture, or event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on GCP experience, including Pub/Sub or BigQuery.
• Experience with AI coding tools or interest in building effective AI-assisted development workflows.
