AWS Software Engineer (Fullstack)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS microservices and APIs using ECS/EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
• Develop web interfaces with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Webpack, Storybook, and SingleSPA.
• Apply OWASP-aligned security practices and write automated unit and integration tests.
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and resource utilization in a high-traffic multi-tenant application.
• Participate in design and code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and continuous quality improvement.
• Collaborate with QA engineers, UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of software engineering experience with exposure to AWS-based applications.
• Backend or microservices development experience with Python, Node, Go, or Java.
• Proficiency with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend build tools.
• Working knowledge of AWS compute, storage, and networking services.
• Understanding of secure software development, OWASP principles, automated testing, and Agile/Scrum workflows.
• Ability to work remotely from Portugal, Spain, Poland, Serbia, or Montenegro.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or EKS.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and GraphQL.
• Experience improving performance and scalability in multi-tenant environments.
• AWS Solutions Architect or Developer Associate certification.
