TL;DR
Senior Cloud Engineer (GCP): Developing and optimizing the Apex Connect backend platform and its cloud infrastructure to support live-service games with an accent on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency. Focus on implementing Infrastructure as Code, refining CI/CD pipelines, and managing Kubernetes orchestration for high-availability gaming services.
Location: Hybrid in Stockholm, Sweden (Office attendance required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays)

What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain the backend platform infrastructure architecture within GCP.
- Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, performant, and cost-efficient to meet high availability requirements.
- Lead the transition and expansion of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across the organization.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve developer experience and overall service stability.
- Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Provide technical excellence and support team members within the Tech Foundations organization.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience with cloud or hybrid infrastructure (preferably GCP).
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
- Professional experience with Python, Go, or C++.
- Experience working with Redis, Memcache, or equivalent caching solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Google Cloud Monitoring.
- Experience with Cloudflare DNS and Cloudflare DDoS protection products.
- A passion and interest in the gaming industry.
