Location: Hybrid (Lisbon or Porto, Portugal). Once a week at the office (Venda do Pinheiro, Lisboa/Porto)

What you will do
- Analyze and tune mid-to-large DB2 Database instances on Linux.
- Maintain and improve the core datasets relied upon for daily business operations.
- Implement reliable, fast, scalable, and responsive database solutions.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams of frontend/backend developers, mainframe specialists, and architects.
- Adapt to existing frameworks and contribute to the definition of future database frameworks.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Administration and Troubleshooting of IBM DB2 LUW database management systems.
- Strong understanding of Linux Administration (SLES, CentOS) and Virtualization with VMware.
- Proficiency in Statement and Procedure Optimization.
- Experience in DB2 LUW integration with Siebel or Cognos.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Portuguese.
- Technical degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
