TL;DR
Automation QA Engineer (AI): Developing and maintaining automated test suites for TV platforms with an accent on hardware-in-the-loop testing and AI-assisted development. Location: Must be based in Hsinchu, Taiwan (Hybrid: in-office Monday–Thursday).

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for TV firmware using Python.
- Own the reliability of test suites by investigating flaky tests and isolating failures across script, infrastructure, or product.
- Triage automation failures from partners and internal teams, performing root-cause analysis.
- Convert manual test cases into automated coverage for hardware-dependent scenarios.
- Integrate and maintain tests in CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and trustworthy releases.
- Utilize AI coding agents to accelerate development and debugging while validating results on real hardware.
Requirements
- Must be based in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
- 3+ years of hands-on Python test automation experience (Pytest, unittest, or BDD).
- Strong debugging and flaky-test investigation skills.
- Experience with embedded or connected systems, Git, and CI/CD.
- Proficiency in using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to generate and debug tests.
- Ability to validate AI-generated code on real hardware and maintain high standards for test reliability.
Nice to have
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
- Background in framework design or SoC partner environments.
- Knowledge of LLM guardrails and agentic engineering toolchains.
