What you will do

• Develop and document detailed test plans and cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Perform thorough software and system testing on Wi-Fi and Switch products.
• Design and execute manual and automated test scenarios to ensure product quality and performance.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues across LAN, L2/L3 protocols, and switching features.
• Collaborate with developers, customer support, and field engineers to identify and resolve issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA engineering, network/system testing, or software validation.
• Hands-on experience in L2/L3 Switch testing and Switch Management.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols: LAN, TCP/IP, NAT, IGMPv2/v3, NTP, DNS, FTP, SNMP, 802.1X, QoS, and Firewall.
• Experience with wireless security, WiFi Hotspot, and WISPr.
• Proficiency with IxChariot, IxLoad, IxExplorer, and IxVeriWave test tools.
• Familiarity with IP tunneling protocols (L2TP, PPTP, GRE, IPsec) and packet capture analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation tools and scripting, preferably in Python.
• Experience with testing lab planning, IPv6, Linux, and Authentication server setup.
• Experience with security testing for Authentication and Authorization.
