Project Leader - Equipment & Packages

Location: Milan, Italy

Salary: €59,000 gross per year minimum; final compensation depends on level, skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Own the Equipment & Packages Engineering work package, including Balance of Plant, Water Steam Cycle components, and Flue Gas Treatment components.
• Prepare engineering documentation for purchasing, construction sites, clients, consortium partners, and subcontractors.
• Take responsibility for the timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery of purchasing lots and engineering deliverables.
• Lead an engineering team and ensure the functionality of the assigned work package scope.
• Negotiate with suppliers, monitor progress, plan resources, and coordinate communication across teams in Zurich and other countries.
• Deliver sub-project objectives related to schedule, quality, and financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical project management within energy, oil and gas, or similar sectors.
• Strong mechanical and process knowledge of rotating and static equipment.
• Experience in industrial plant construction.
• Team leadership, collaboration, negotiation, and resilience skills.
• Fluent English required; Italian and other languages are advantageous.
