Fullstack Engineer (PHP/Vue)

What you will do

• Develop end-to-end features including database schemas, backend services, and frontend interfaces.
• Maintain and optimize a mature codebase, focusing on reliability and performance for live events with large audiences.
• Build and manage integrations with third-party marketing, CRM, and payment platforms, designing for failure modes.
• Increase automated test coverage and participate in rigorous code reviews to maintain high standards.
• Collaborate directly with Product and Support teams to translate customer needs into working software.
• Document system architecture and mentor new engineers during onboarding.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production web applications.
• Proficiency in PHP 8.2+ and modern Laravel within large, existing codebases.
• Strong experience with Vue 3, or equivalent proficiency in React/Angular with willingness to work in Vue daily.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases at scale, including query optimization and sharded architectures.
• Practical experience with background job systems, including idempotency and retries.
• For Live Experience focus: Experience with WebSockets, Firebase, WebRTC, or HLS playback.

Nice to have

• Experience with Twilio Video, Agora, LiveKit, or Daily.
• Comfort reading and modifying TypeScript.
• Knowledge of transactional email deliverability (DKIM, sender reputation).
• Experience with payment provider migrations.
