What you will do

• Define strategy and drive improvements for fuzzing, threat modeling, secrets management, and container security.
• Support engineering teams during security incident responses by providing risk analysis and proofs of concept.
• Lead complex security projects from inception through completion to enhance product resonance with customers.
• Design and implement security controls and architecture patterns across Server Engineering.
• Perform proactive security assessments, including architecture reviews, code reviews, and penetration testing.
• Educate the engineering organization via CTFs, mentorship, and technical workshops.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in application, software, or product security.
• Demonstrated experience in C++ programming and remediation of memory-related security flaws (e.g., buffer overflows, memory leaks).
• Proficiency in scripting and ability to contribute code to production environments.
• Experience leading threat modeling and communicating complex technical issues to diverse audiences.
• Must be based in North America (Seattle, New York, or remote).

Nice to have

• Subject matter expertise in database or data security.
• Knowledge of database engines, internals, or applied cryptography.
• Experience partnering with security researchers to identify vulnerabilities resulting in published CVEs.
