Data Scientist Intern (AI)

TL;DR

Data Scientist Intern (AI/ML): Developing and optimizing mathematical models and algorithms for fraud detection and claim automation in the insurance industry with an accent on Applied Mathematics and software engineering. Focus on implementing production-ready code, integrating client feedback into models, and analyzing complex insurance data.

Location: Must be currently enrolled in a Mexico City University and able to commute to the office at least 3 days/week

What you will do

• Analyze insurance data and fraud mechanisms to create associated mathematical models.
• Implement, test, and optimize machine learning algorithms.
• Participate in client workshops to gather feedback and integrate it into the models.
• Provide continuous ideas to improve the technical solution.

Requirements

• Native Spanish and fluent English proficiency (mandatory).
• Advanced technical skills in Applied Mathematics, Software Engineering, Machine Learning and/or operations research.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and OOP.
• Ability to write quality production code.
• Currently enrolled in a Mexico City university for a minimum internship duration of 6 months.

Nice to have

• Experience or projects involving C#.
