Site Reliability Engineer (Compute/Network)

TL;DR

Site Reliability Engineer (Compute/Network): Designing and maintaining core cloud infrastructure, hypervisor internals, and network security layers with an accent on Linux kernel optimization, eBPF, and routing automation. What you will do

• Design and maintain operating systems and hypervisor fleets, including kernel and network stacks.
• Contribute to routing and security automation system implementations.
• Manage and improve system container runtimes and OS image strategies.
• Enhance provisioning, deployment systems, and bare-metal performance.
• Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Must be based in the EU or willing to work remotely within Europe.
• Solid experience with Linux, kernel internals, and Systemd.
• Familiarity with KVM virtualization and container runtimes.
• Strong knowledge of network routing, transport, and encapsulation protocols.
• Proficiency in eBPF, Golang, and Python.
• English: B2+ required for effective communication in a distributed team.

Nice to have

• Experience with configuration management at scale.
• Familiarity with server hardware.
• Willingness to learn new technologies if not fully proficient in all listed areas.
