TL;DR
Commissioning Manager (Data Center): Driving commissioning strategies, procedures, scopes, schedules, budgets, and vendor performance for a data centre project with an accent on critical electrical and mechanical systems, QA/QC, and partner coordination. Focus on developing detailed commissioning scripts, conducting site inspections, and resolving project interdependencies and issues.
Location: Johor, Malaysia; hybrid role with onsite work required

What you will do
- Develop and implement commissioning strategies, procedures, scopes, and schedules.
- Drive the commissioning process and report progress, budgets, and impacts to partners and management.
- Conduct site inspections covering QA/QC and commissioning activities.
- Manage vendors, vendor project managers, and client-appointed commissioning teams.
- Identify project issues and interdependencies, coordinating effective resolutions.
- Work independently in support of the data centre commissioning program.
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of UPS systems, switchgear, generators, and critical mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to develop detailed commissioning scripts.
- Project management experience on a data centre project.
- Degree or comparable experience in project management or construction.
- Ability to work onsite in Johor, Malaysia.
