What you will do

• Conduct fundamental and applied research in generative and predictive world-modeling, including video generation and latent diffusion.
• Develop multimodal foundation models (LLM, VLM, VLA) for scene understanding, reasoning, and control.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate models into large-scale distributed training and rendering pipelines.
• Publish high-impact research at top-tier conferences such as CVPR, NeurIPS, and ICLR.
• Mentor junior scientists and interns to foster a culture of scientific rigor.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, or equivalent research experience.
• Expert proficiency in Python and PyTorch (or JAX).
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with distributed training.
• Expert domain knowledge in building generative or predictive models of the physical world at scale.
• Must be based in the USA or Canada.

• Proven ability to translate research into production-quality code with measurable impact.
• First-author publications in top-tier venues on world models, diffusion, or foundation models for autonomy.
