What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day operations and technical landscape of the backend system.
• Design and implement secure, maintainable RESTful APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
• Lead AWS infrastructure management and own the CDK infrastructure scripting.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to scale the engineering function.
• Influence system architecture and define technical requirements for new features.
• Drive continuous deployment processes in a high-growth, hyper-pace environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working as a backend developer.
• 2+ years of experience with Node.js.
• Commercial experience with TypeScript and AWS Infrastructure.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and AWS services including S3, RDS, ECS, and Lambda.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail in technical documentation and ticket descriptions.
