TL;DR
Senior Cloud Architect (AI): Leading architecture assessments, cloud transformation initiatives, and AI platform strategies for enterprise and public sector clients with an accent on Sovereign Cloud and AI environments. Focus on designing large-scale cloud-native platforms, AI infrastructure, and data governance frameworks to enable enterprise AI adoption.
Location: Hybrid in Fundão, VNG - Cais Gaia, or Lisboa (Portugal)

What you will do
- Lead cloud architecture assessments and modernization initiatives for enterprise clients.
- Define target-state architectures for cloud and cloud-native platforms.
- Design Sovereign Cloud and Sovereign AI architectures and AI infrastructure.
- Develop architectures for GenAI solutions, Agentic AI, and AI Operations (AIOps).
- Define data processing and governance approaches to support enterprise AI adoption.
- Assess CI/CD environments and DevSecOps capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Architecture.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale cloud and data solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Must be based in or able to work from Fundão, VNG - Cais Gaia, or Lisboa.
Nice to have
- Experience with Sovereign Cloud initiatives.
- Experience with AI platform architecture and GenAI solutions.
- Experience working in regulated industries.
- Background in large-scale platform modernization programs.
