Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day social strategy across Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms to drive high-value audience growth.
• Manage and coach two audience team members on story packaging and operations.
• Own performance reporting and utilize data to iterate on daily distribution strategies.
• Oversee the publishing schedule for editorial, video, and commerce content across platforms.
• Collaborate with editors and design staff to package major list launches and special projects.
• Execute real-time publishing and packaging during breaking news moments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant editorial and social media experience.
• Must have experience with news stories.
• Demonstrated people management experience, including coaching and developing teams.
• Proven success in developing social strategies that drive high-value referral traffic.
• Strong editorial judgment and exceptional copy-editing skills.
• Proficiency with social media analytics platforms and Google Analytics.
• Must reside in one of the approved US states listed in the location section.

Nice to have

• Experience with design tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Canva, and Figma.
