What you will do
- Deploy and maintain monitoring systems including OBM, NNMi, Zabbix, Prometheus, and Graylog.
- Develop enterprise-wide SLIs/SLOs to ensure alerting is aligned with business impact.
- Serve as the primary Tier-3 development escalation point for NOC and product teams, leading incident resolution and RCA.
- Automate monitoring provisioning and remediation workflows using Python, Bash, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Implement AI-driven improvements such as anomaly detection and AI-assisted troubleshooting.
- Ensure GDPR and DPZ compliance for EMEA-region workloads.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in observability and monitoring.
- Hands-on expertise with Zabbix architectures, NNMi (SNMP, traps), Prometheus, and Graylog.
- Proven SRE experience with reliability architecture and incident management.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, and networking concepts for production systems.
- Expertise in Python, Bash, Terraform, and Ansible integration with GitLab pipelines.
Nice to have
- Experience with OpenTelemetry pipeline design, Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Grafana.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP monitoring tools and certifications.
- Experience with OpsBridge Aviator, SMAX, or AIOps-driven correlation engines.
- Light programming experience in Go or Java for exporters and integrations.
- CKA/CKAD or Zabbix certifications.
