Salary: $290,000 - $365,000 USD

What you will do

• Build the incident response management function, including processes, tooling, and operational standards.
• Serve as an on-call incident commander, driving coordinated response across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Own end-to-end incident communications for internal coordination and external channels like status pages.
• Lead blameless incident reviews and drive follow-through on critical remediations to prevent recurrence.
• Partner with engineering, security, and legal teams to develop scalable response policies and escalation frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in incident management for technical products or infrastructure.
• Experience building or significantly shaping an incident response program in a high-growth environment.
• Technical depth in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, monitoring tools, and logs.
• Strong ability to make sound decisions under pressure in ambiguous, fast-paced situations.
• Must be located in or able to work from NYC, San Francisco, or Seattle (25% office presence required).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
