Detection Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Build and maintain security detection and incident response capabilities.
• Develop, tune, and maintain security detection rules and alerts.
• Scale security efforts using automation and frontier AI models.
• Perform triage and lead investigations for security alerts.
• Manage data onboarding, parsing, and dashboarding within SIEM infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven experience in incident response and security operations.
• Hands-on experience with Google SecOps (Chronicle).
• Proficiency in monitoring JAMF MDM, Google Workspace, and Okta.
• Experience with Google Cloud (GCP) and Security Command Center (SCC).
• Scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and NIST frameworks.
