Principal Level Designer (Gamedev)

What you will do

• Build immersive, believable game worlds and experiences aligned with the overall creative vision.
• Develop plots, themes, rules, game mechanics, and levels from concept through final implementation.
• Collaborate with Game Designers, the Creative Director, and programmers to shape the gameplay experience.
• Use the hirify.global Engine and Jira to create content and coordinate tasks across departments.
• Test self-created content and content produced by other team members.
• Create documentation for assigned and completed tasks.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in game or level design.
• Previous experience as a Senior or Principal Level Designer.
• Experience with AAA game engines, including licensed or proprietary technology.
• Experience organizing and managing working groups.
• Extensive experience creating game modifications.
• Good English and at least 10 years of gaming experience as a player.

Nice to have

• Higher education in a technical, art, or humanities discipline.
• Ability to learn tools quickly and adapt to in-house software.
• Passion for games.
• Equivalent professional experience.
