TL;DR
Systems Engineer (Cloud): Building and maintaining custom virtual test platforms and cloud provisioning workflows for SASE edge deployments with an accent on IaC and Linux systems. Focus on developing network deployment pipelines on Azure and GCP, solving real-time customer issues, and optimizing internal testing infrastructure.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain IaC templates for infrastructure provisioning and management on Azure and GCP.
- Build and optimize virtual test platforms used by engineering teams to validate releases on a custom OS.
- Iterate on products through quick MVP cycles based on direct user feedback.
- Dedicate approximately 20% of time to solving real-time customer issues to maintain product proximity.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and SREs to improve platform operations.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a similar field.
- Foundational knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language (Python or Go preferred).
- Proficiency with Linux systems, command-line usage, and Git version control.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/S.
- Must be based in or able to work from the Zurich office to support the hybrid work model.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Exposure to IaC tools like Terraform or Terragrunt.
- Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Buildkite, or Jenkins).
- Interest in network security or SASE architectures.
- Experience with Bash scripting.
