Manager, Security Operations (Cloud Security)

What you will do

• Own security monitoring, detection, and incident response, including coordination with the external SOC partner.
• Run vulnerability management across the product and environment, including triage, risk prioritization, remediation orchestration, and customer-facing CVE response.
• Manage cloud-native security posture and runtime protection across multi-cloud Kubernetes environments and multiple deployment models.
• Oversee endpoint, infrastructure, IT, and corporate security operations.
• Drive cross-team security initiatives through engineering, platform, cloud/ops, and IT teams, tracking milestones and dependencies to completion.
• Lead a small team of security specialists and represent security in customer questionnaires, audits, penetration-test findings, and technical vulnerability discussions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical security, with strong depth in security operations and incident response.
• Previous team leadership or management experience and the ability to develop autonomous senior specialists and junior talent.
• Hands-on breadth across the security stack, with incident response as a specialist strength.
• Experience with cloud security, major cloud providers, Kubernetes, and SaaS, single-tenant, or customer-managed deployment models.
• Ability to deliver outcomes through teams without direct authority and to create structure in an agile, low-process environment.
• Fluent English required; Czech or Slovak is advantageous.

Nice to have

• GCIH, GCIA, or cloud-security certifications.
• Czech or Slovak language skills.
