What you will do

• Define and execute long-term architectural strategy for resilient, distributed infrastructure to support AI workloads.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of high standards.
• Diagnose and solve complex technical bottlenecks using first-principles thinking to create scalable requirements.
• Design and implement foundational platform services to enhance developer experience and reduce operational overhead.
• Collaborate with product, research, and security teams to ensure infrastructure is secure and performant.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience with a track record in complex distributed systems.
• 5+ years of experience leading high-impact engineering teams and influencing technical strategy at a staff level.
• Expertise in cloud-native infrastructure, specifically GCP and Kubernetes at scale.
• Deep expertise in GPU/ML infrastructure for large-scale training, data generation, and inference workloads.
• Strong ability to decompose complex technical problems into simplified and actionable architectural designs.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in architectural patterns for high-throughput, low-latency services.
• Experience in high-growth environments where infrastructure requirements pivot rapidly.
• Experience with multi-tenant data governance and federated access in IP-sensitive environments.
