Location: Full-time, on-site role in Almaty, Kazakhstan

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end relocation journey for international employees moving to Kazakhstan, from offer acceptance through onboarding in Almaty.
- Manage visas, work permits, migration registration, renewals, and required filings with Kazakhstani authorities.
- Prepare, collect, verify, translate, notarize, and legalize documents required for the legal employment of foreign nationals.
- Coordinate migration agencies, legal counsel, translators, and relocation vendors while tracking deadlines and quality.
- Organize practical relocation support, including travel, temporary housing, airport pickup, local registration, bank accounts, mobile setup, and first-weeks support.
- Partner with Recruiting, HR, Operations, and hiring managers to align contracts, start dates, and immigration timelines, while building scalable relocation playbooks.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience managing immigration and relocation of foreign nationals into Kazakhstan.
- Practical knowledge of Kazakhstan's migration legislation and requirements for employing foreign citizens.
- Experience working with government authorities and external migration or legal providers.
- Ability to manage multiple parallel cases with hard deadlines, accurate document control, and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and spoken English and fluent Russian; Kazakh is an advantage.
- High ownership, discretion with passports and personal data, empathy, and comfort working with changing regulations.

- Experience in a fast-scaling startup or international company relocating employees to Kazakhstan at volume.
- Established relationships with migration agencies and service providers in Almaty.
- Experience supporting housing, settling-in, spouse, and family relocation needs.
- Background in HR operations or global mobility.
