• Develop short-term and long-term science roadmaps for research in Agent optimization and learning.
• Implement and validate research ideas including RL reward shaping, training efficiency, and agent memory learning.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to transfer science innovations into customer-facing AWS products.
• Utilize hirify.global's large-scale computing resources to accelerate advances in foundation models.

Requirements

• PhD, or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in CS, CE, ML, or a related field.
• Proven experience with patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
• Proficiency in programming with Python, Java, C++, or related languages.
• Must be based in or able to work from Santa Clara, CA, USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with RLVR, reward modeling, and inference optimization.
• Experience with agent task and environment synthesis.
