What you will do

• Drive the automation strategy, framework roadmap, and technical standards for testing architecture.
• Define and implement automation approaches across API, service-level, UI, and E2E layers.
• Own test stability, flakiness reduction, and suite reliability to ensure fast feedback.
• Integrate and evolve automation within CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Represent testability in design reviews and champion shift-left testing practices.
• Mentor automation engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster technical growth through pairing.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, including 2+ years in a technical leadership or architecture role.
• Deep expertise in Playwright and TypeScript.
• Proven experience designing an automation framework from the ground up.
• Strong experience with API-level testing, including mocking and stubbing external services.
• Practical experience owning CI/CD automation integration.
• Experience automating complex multi-tenant or highly configurable platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience automating tests related to payments, checkout, or fintech systems (3DS, PSPs, APMs, webhooks, idempotency).
• Experience introducing AI-assisted testing workflows.
