What you will do

  • Design and develop software applications using C# and Unity for surgical navigation systems.
  • Integrate optical navigation technologies for real-time surgical tracking and visualization.
  • Collaborate with hardware, clinical, and regulatory teams to define and deliver software requirements.
  • Develop augmented reality and immersive visualization tools for surgical planning.
  • Interface with cameras, sensors, and surgical hardware platforms.
  • Document software architecture and testing procedures in compliance with medical device standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience with C# and Unity.
  • Experience developing software that interfaces with physical hardware systems.
  • Strong understanding of optical navigation systems in healthcare environments.
  • Proficiency with SDLC, version control systems like Git, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with 3D visualization or real-time rendering.

Nice to have

  • Experience in medical device software development (FDA/ISO standards).
  • Background in robotic surgical systems or navigation platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, web technologies, and REST APIs.
  • Understanding of anatomy and biomechanics in orthopedics.
