Mental Health Therapist (1099 Contractor)

Location: Remote in the U.S.; must have office space in Nebraska and be able to serve clients in Chadron, McCook, and Scottsbluff. In-person care delivery is strongly preferred.

What you will do

• Provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
• Support clients across a broad spectrum of mental health needs, from mild presentations to complex and severe cases.
• Apply evidence-based treatments such as ACT, CBT, CPT, and DBT.
• Manage clinical risk and respond to client crises when needed.
• Deliver care remotely and, preferably, in person through a private or group practice.
• Use Lyra tools for scheduling, billing, clinical consultation, and care navigation support.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree from a clinical track, such as MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, or PsyD.
• Unrestricted independent license such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent, with no current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
• Experience providing evidence-based treatments and following clinical best practices, including measurement-based care and skills practice.
• Ability to provide care to children, adults, couples, and/or families.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to maintain office space in Nebraska.
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
