What you will do
- Manage, monitor, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based database systems.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability to support critical business applications.
- Implement robust database security protocols, user access controls, and compliance measures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss.
- Perform proactive performance tuning, optimization, and complex troubleshooting.
- Plan and execute database patching, upgrades, and migrations with minimal business impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with MS-SQL and SAP HANA.
- English: C1 level (Excellent verbal and written skills).
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and object management.
- Experience in monitoring and resolving complex database-related issues efficiently.
- Must be based in Cairo.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions.
