Network Operations Center Associate (AI)

Location: Full-time on-site in Glomfjord, Norway. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Monitor network infrastructure, servers, storage, and customer environments using enterprise platforms.
• Track Building Management Systems (BMS) and DCIM tools to ensure electrical, cooling, and fire safety stability.
• Perform first-line incident triage, logging alerts and resolving routine issues via SOPs.
• Manage the lifecycle of incident and service tickets with detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with Tier 2/3 engineers, facilities teams, and external vendors during critical events.
• Support scheduled maintenance, hardware health checks, and operational reporting.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a NOC, IT helpdesk, or data center environment.
• Degree or certificate in Network Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Experience with Linux/Unix command line and Windows Server environments.
• Ability to work a flexible shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have the right to work in Norway (no visa sponsorship provided).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, or SolarWinds.
• Experience with ticketing systems like Jira Service Management or ServiceNow.
• CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or ITIL Foundation certifications.
• Norwegian language skills.
