What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable core platforms for financial flows, ensuring data completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Build integrations with existing internal backend services and various third-party APIs.
• Set the technical direction for the new financial automation domain and establish standards aligned with ITGC/DORA requirements.
• Partner with Finance, Commerce, and Product stakeholders to translate complex regulatory needs into reliable automations.
• Lead features and initiatives end-to-end, from initial idea to successful execution.
• Promote engineering best practices and share knowledge through tech talks.

Requirements

• Solid backend engineering experience with a track record of shipping scalable and reliable systems.
• Proficiency in microservice architecture and API design.
• Strong principles for writing clean, simple, secure, and maintainable code.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Must be based in or able to work from Tallinn, Estonia to support the hybrid office model.
• Daily use of AI tools to optimize workflow and productivity.
