What you will do

• Lead end-to-end investigations of system and production failures from initial symptom to root-cause identification and closure.
• Perform hands-on debugging and failure reproduction in laboratory and production environments.
• Analyze failures across multidisciplinary domains, including hardware, software, firmware, mechanics, and optics.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to define and implement effective corrective actions.
• Analyze production and test data to identify recurring failure trends and yield issues.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and present investigation findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in failure analysis, system debugging, electronics laboratory work, or production engineering.
• Proficiency with standard laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
• Basic programming or scripting capabilities, preferably in Python.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hebrew.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Rosh Ha'Ayin, Israel.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, NPI, or mass-production environments.
• Experience with optical, electro-mechanical, or embedded systems.
• Familiarity with Linux, SQL, or automated test equipment.
• Knowledge of structured root-cause methodologies such as 8D, DOE, or 5 Whys.
• Experience leading technical investigations or multidisciplinary task forces.
